Island Green Golf Academy Staff

Craig is the Director of the Island Green Golf Academy and Head Professional at Town & Country Golf Links.  He is also the Head Coach of the Salem Community College golf team.  Craig is one of the few Master Teaching Professionals and Certified Examiners in the Mid-Atlantic region and loves spending time with his students at the range and the course.  

Craig’s goal is to help ALL of his students shoot better scores while improving their understanding and enjoyment of the game.  Making Golf Fun is an important component of Craig’s philosophy and success.  Whether you are just starting with the game for the very first time or an accomplished veteran, Craig will help you to reach your goals by combining sound fundamental techniques with a customized learning plan designed specifically for you.

Town & Country Golf Links and the Island Green Golf Academy are very excited to have Tom join the staff as a full time Assistant Golf Professional.  Tom retired from Woodstown High School after 34 years including 10 years as the Golf Coach. 

The Woodstown High School Golf team enjoyed a great deal of success during Tom’s tenure, capturing two conference titles, as well as a South/Central NJ Sectional title.  Tom is thrilled to have had the opportunity to introduce so many young players to the game and has enjoyed watching many of them continue to play competitive golf in college.  Tom is excited about his new career as an Assistant Golf Professional and fully certified Teaching Professional.  Tom’s experience and passion for working with junior golfers makes him a tremendous asset to the staff. 

Fred has been playing golf for over 35 years and decided it was time to turn his love for the game into a second career.  Fred’s lifelong experiences as a Coach coupled with his passion for golf paved his way to becoming a fully certified Teaching Professional. 

Fred takes great satisfaction in seeing his students improve and excel as they take their games to the next level.  Fred has a special interest in working with junior golfers and is excited to be a full time Assistant Golf Professional at Town & Country Golf Links and the Island Green Golf Academy.  Fred’s commitment to his students and desire to share his knowledge has made him a terrific addition to the staff. 

Nick is a History teacher and Assistant Golf Coach at William Penn High School (New Castle, DE) during the school year and a full time Golf Professional during the summer.  Nick is an Assistant Professional at Cavaliers Country Club and a fully certified Teaching Professional for the Island Green Golf Academy. 

Nick enjoys working with players of all ages and abilities stressing good

fundamentals.  Nick’s love for the game and passion for teaching has made him a tremendous asset to the staff.
